Kiti Jackson is a Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor with the STI Health and Wellness since March 2024. Kiti comes to STI from the private practice realm where she was the Executive Therapeutic Assistant Director of substance abuse and integrative care. Kiti’s trauma informed approach to therapy enables a safe, non-judgmental, and compassionate space with the hope of healing. She is passionate about helping clients with mental, emotional, and behavioral growth. Kiti has treated the underserved Virginia community, where she conducted individual and group therapy to treat substance use, homelessness and those impacted by the legal system. Kiti’s work is focused on serving both civilian and military clients with mood disorders, addiction, and PTSD. She is a Nationally Certified Counselor (NCC) and Certified Clinical Trauma Professional (CCTP). Kiti has training in Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS) and ACT. Her additional certifications include EMDR, CBT for Anxiety and OCD. Her years as a DoD civilian Med Tech, military spouse and mother have taught her to be flexible because life can change in the blink of an eye. As her husband and daughter are in the intelligence field, Kiti understands the responsibility and resiliency needed to live with cleared professionals.
Kiti is a proud Samoan from Oahu, Hawaii which allows clinical appreciation for the impact of our multiracial and multicultural identities as we coexist within the natural environment of our family and professional careers.
Kiti has a Bachelor of Arts in Christian Psychology and a Master of Arts in Human Services and Counseling. Led by her desire to help others in both their personal and professional lives, she has earned a Master of Arts in Professional Counseling and is seeking a doctorate in Industrial/Organizational Psychology.
