Provides technical expertise for database design, development, implementation, information storage and retrieval, data flow, and analysis. Develops relational and/or Object-Oriented databases, database parser software, and database loading software. Projects long-range requirements for database administration and design. Responsible for developing a database structure that fits into the overall architecture of the system under development and has to make trades among data volumes, number of users, logical and physical distribution, response times, retention rules, security, and domain controls. The DBE works primarily at the front end of the lifecycle requirements through system acceptance testing and Initial Operational Capability (IOC). Develop requirements from a project’s inception to its conclusion for a particular business and Information Technology (IT) subject matter area (i.e., simple to complex systems). Assist with recommendations for, and analysis and evaluation of systems improvements, optimization, development, and/or maintenance efforts. Translates a set of requirements and data into a usable document by creating or recreating ad hoc queries, scripts, and macros; updates existing queries and creates new ones to manipulate data into a master file; and builds complex systems using queries, tables, Open Database Connectivity and database storage and retrieval using Cloud methodologies.
 
1. Ten (10) years of experience as a DBA in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. A bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Four (4) years of additional DBA experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree. Candidate needs strong Oracle and Postgres skills.
 
 
Ten (10) years of experience as a DBE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity is required. A bachelor’s degree in a technical discipline from an accredited college or university is required. Five (5) years of DBE experience may be substituted for a bachelor’s degree.
2. Experience in Information Assurance: DoD 8570.01-M compliance with Information Assurance Technical (IAT) Level II is required

Test Engineer

Test Engineer to join a software development team that works with other test organizations to support Test & Evaluation and program integration.

Test Engineer Duties Include:

  • Developing and executing functional test procedures.
  • Feature, System, and Regression testing of each release (per the Sprint schedule) of the product.
  • Testing within an agile development environment for a feature-based release model.
  • Documentation and maintenance of the test plan, test environments, and test event checklists for each test cycle.
  • Providing feedback to the project team, software developers, and Government Program Manager (GPM) on test results and defects.

Required Experience:

·         Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph

2+ years’ experience with:

  • Assist with any or all of the Level 1 tasks as constrained by technical training and previous testing experience
  • Conducting research into and applying knowledge of Government test and evaluation concepts and related engineering, acquisition, and operations activities as needed to support the T&E activities.
  • Plan and Execute Performance Analysis
  • Review planned acquisition approaches to support T&E schedule alignment with decision-maker needs for T&E support
  • Analyze performance risk areas to focus T&E planning
  • Specify, validate, and adapt Modeling and Simulation for T&E use
  • Apply Statistical Analysis of variations in performance behavior to characterize confidence in performance estimates
  • Select, develop, & use analysis tools
  • Execute the evaluation plan on data collected by the Testing Tasks
  • Plan program and event-level testing for collection of data required for analysis and to synch T&E events with supported decision points
  • Establish and employ Data & Configuration Management capabilities

Systems Engineer I

SYSTEMS ENGINEER I (SE I)

Responsible for assisting with various aspects of system development, including system architecture, requirements analysis, and process execution. This role involves designing complex collection systems, integrating systems that use multiple operating systems, performing tradeoff studies, and analyzing system performance.

The SE I works under the guidance of more experienced engineers and contributes to all phases of system development, from requirements analysis to system testing. They also support integrated hardware and software systems that comply with CMMI Level 2 and above.

Collaboration with cross-functional teams is essential, and a strong understanding of engineering principles is required for this role.
